Basin and Range Birding Trail Education Kit

Welcome to the Basin and Range Birding Trail Education Kit. This resource was developed by Klamath Bird Observatory, in partnership with The River Center, to benefit Modoc County educators and community members. The education kit is intended to aid teachers in teaching science concepts and skills through place-based nature education. Students learn through connecting with their local birds and habitats.

Below is the curriculum portion of the kit. The kit also includes many teaching aids and hands-on resources as well as a curriculum binder. To check out the kit (2 available) including this curriculum and many resources and equipment, contact The River Center: 530-230-5085.

To learn how you can have Klamath Bird Observatory's educators create place-based bird education curriculum and resources for your area or your nature center, contact KBO@KlamathBird.org
