Classroom Presentations

KBO education staff are available to lead a free science-based classroom activity for your students. With birds as the teaching tool, we focus on anatomy and its functions, adaptations, and birds' relationship to their habitat and other plants and animals. KBO also aims to inspire young scientists by introducing them to the exciting world of field research. KBO brings the process of scientific inquiry to life, showing students its central role in KBO's research and conservation work.

KBO educators enhance teachers' abilities to meet science curriculum goals according to Oregon Standards, specifically related to Diversity/Interdependence, Life Science, and Scientific Inquiry.

To sign up for a classroom visit, contact Ashley Dayer at 541 201-0866 (voicemail box 3).
