ENDOWMENT

KBO's Science and Education Bird Conservation Endowment was established in 2006 with a generous gift from the Baldwin Family Trust in memory of Paul and Sarah Baldwin. This fund will support KBO's efforts to advance bird conservation through science and education into perpetuity. You too can invest in KBO's future and contribute to the endowment. To contribute, contact kbo@KlamathBird.org or send your contribution with the designation "endowment" to KBO, PO Box 758, Ashland, OR 97520.

GIFT AND ESTATE PLANNING

Join KBO's Legacy Club. You can provide now for a future gift to KBO by including a bequest provision in your will or revocable trust. Another option is to designate KBO as the beneficiary or partial beneficiary of an IRA or other qualified retirement plan. How it works: You name KBO as the beneficiary (or partial beneficiary) of your IRA, 401(k) or other qualified plan. This is easily accomplished by notifying the custodian of the account. After your lifetime, the designated percentage of your plan passes to KBO tax-free.

Planned gifts to KBO are about planning for the future: your future and the future of bird populations and healthy habitats. A variety of options are available. Speak to your financial advisor or contact kbo@KlamathBird.org.
