Danni has worked with the Klamath Bird Observatory since May of 2009 by surveying colonially nesting aquatic birds, working as a data management specialist, and contributing to the planning and preparation for the upcoming field season.

 

 

Danni received her Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Northern Illinois University in 2007, and a second Bachelor's Degree in Zoology with an  emphasis in Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, from Michigan State University in 2008. She joined the Klamath Bird Observatory in May of 2009 through an internship to survey tree nesting colonial aquatic birds throughout southern Oregon, and continued her work with KBO in data management through the spring of 2010. She continues to work with KBO as a Biological Technician during the field season of 2010, surveying colonially nesting marsh bird populations.
