Karen Hussey, MS, Research and Monitoring Program Manager

Karen oversees development and coordination of the Oregon Coordinated Aquatic Bird Monitoring program, manages data, and provides support for KBO's terrestrial bird program.

Karen joined KBO in 2009 after completing her Master’s degree in Environmental and Life Sciences at Trent University in Ontario, Canada.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont in 2000.  She has a diverse background in avian work as well as experience with mammals and herps.
