We are conducting a Bird-A-Thon to raise money to provide the equipment and travel expenses for the many Volunteer Biologists that spend from 1-6 months in the in humid tropical jungle to study these birds.
Your pledge, per species seen or lump sum, will support the volunteers during the 2006 season. Our goal is to seen over 100 species on the Sunday Big Day Field Trip. A pledge of $0.20 per species will provide the boat transportation to study site, $0.40 per species will buy 1 mist-net, $1.00 will provide a 1/4 of the air fare to send a volunteer to Costa Rica.
To pledge please send an email to Dr. C. John Ralph (theralphs@humboldt1.com) with your pledge amount per species or lump sum. Please include your full name and mailing address to receive the Bird-A-Thon results and thank you letter.
