KBO educators are contracted to teach a wide variety of science-based summer camps and programs in our region.

They include:

ScienceWorks: Klamath Bird Observatory partners with ScienceWorks Hands on Museum to offer summer camps to children ages 4 to 10.  Topics range from birds to mammals to field ecology to  bats, and more.  For more information please visit  ScienceWorks.

Resources and People (RAP) Camp is a summer camp sponsored by the US Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and Oregon State Extension for high school students throughout Oregon and northern California.  KBO teaches the ornithology portion of the summer camp.

Klamath Outdoor Science School is an outdoor education school for Southern Oregon.

SOU Academy provides week long summer camps to highly motivated and talented youth.  Klamath Bird Observatory teaches camps on ornithology and field ecology.

North Mountain Park offers summer camps for which KBO occasionally leads banding interpretation programs.
