Past meetings
June 17, 2005. LaMNA members met at Humboldt
State University, Arcata, California, concurrent with the Cooper Ornithological
Society’s Annual Meeting. The meeting is summarized in the July
2005 newsletter.
September 2006. LaMNA members met in conjunction
with the Western Bird Banding Association Annual Meeting held in Albuquerque,
New Mexico. The meeting is summarized in the November/December
2006 newsletter.
May 26-27, 2007. A group of LaMNA principals
met on Upper Klamath Lake outside of Rocky Point, Oregon to discuss a number
of issues related to the banding data node and planning for the future of
the LaMNA network. The meeting of the "Boat House Group" is summarized
on the second page of the June
2007 newsletter.
Friday, June 21, 2007. LaMNA members met
in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Cooper Ornithological Society
in Moscow, Idaho. One of the main focuses was our progress in getting the
banding database installed on the data node and related projects such as the
web interface, governance of LaMNA, data visualizations, and data tools. The
meeting is summarized in the minutes from the meeting linked here.
July 18, 2007. The second "Boat House
Group" met at Upper Klamath Lake outside of Rocky Point, Oregon. The
group included several visitors from the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology.

February 7, 2008. LaMNA members met over
lunch at the 4th International Partners in Flight Conference, McAllen, Texas.
We discussed progress on the LaMNA banding data schema and governance. The
meeting is summarized in the May
2008 newsletter.
