Long-term Monitoring

KBO has an extensive long-term monitoring program that provides information about the status of bird populations and how they are changing over time in the Klamath-Siskiyou Bioregion.  Long-term monitoring allows us to determine population trends across the landscape and measure population vital signs (e.g., productivity and survival) to understanding the cause of population change.  Through long-term monitoring we examine bird populations in relation to natural and anthropogenic habitat changes.
